Terms of use

These terms apply to everyone who uses jurisdexa.online. By using the site you accept them. Last updated 24 October 2026.

Research reference only, not legal advice

Jurisdexa summarises enforcement decisions that regulators and advertising authorities have published, and lists official sources for each jurisdiction. It is general information, not legal, compliance or financial advice. It does not say whether any product, promotion, licence or activity is lawful in any place. Using the site does not create a lawyer-client or adviser relationship with us. Read the official document and take qualified advice before you act.

No gambling services

Jurisdexa is not a gambling operator. We do not take bets, promote operators or offers, or accept payment for coverage. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for any regulator, authority or operator named on the site. Their names and marks belong to them and are used only to identify their decisions.

Accuracy and updates

We check entries against their sources and show when each page was checked. But regulators amend, withdraw, appeal and republish decisions, and links change. A settlement or consent agreement is not a finding of wrongdoing, and an Ontario penalty may be under appeal. If our summary and the official document differ, the official document is the authority. Please tell us about errors through the contact page; our corrections process is on the editorial standards page.

Using and quoting our material

The text, tables, totals, maps and design of Jurisdexa are our work, unless a source is credited. You may:

• read, print and save pages for your own research or work
• quote short extracts and individual entries, with a link to the page; please also cite the regulator's document

You need our written permission to republish whole tables or pages, sell or license our material, or mirror the site. Official documents we link to remain the property of their publishers and are subject to their own terms.

Acceptable use

Do not use the site or its contact form to send spam, unlawful or abusive content, or malicious code; to attempt to access non-public parts of the site; or to place excessive automated load on the server. Reasonable automated access that respects our robots.txt is fine.

Links to other sites

We link to regulators, courts, legislatures and other official bodies, and sometimes to trade reports, which we mark. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.

Our responsibility to you

The site is provided free and "as is". To the extent the law allows, we do not guarantee that it will be complete, current or always available. We are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on it, including loss of profit, business, revenue or data, or any indirect or consequential loss.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, nothing here affects your statutory rights.

Changes and contact
