About Jurisdexa

Jurisdexa is an independent research reference on how gambling rules are enforced. We record the fines, settlements, penalties and advertising rulings that regulators publish, and we keep a directory of the official sources behind each jurisdiction's rules: the regulator, its licence register, its enforcement page and its marketing code.

The people who use it are compliance teams, affiliate managers, marketers and researchers who need to know what regulators have actually acted on, not what a summary says they might. Every case we list links to its source: the regulator's own notice or ruling wherever we could open it, otherwise a clearly marked copy or report.

What we cover

Great Britain (the Gambling Commission and the Advertising Standards Authority), Ontario and other Canadian provinces, the US states with regulated online gambling, and the licensed European markets. We do not cover India or other markets where online gambling or its promotion is prohibited.

What we are not

Jurisdexa is not a law firm, a regulator or a gambling operator. Our summaries describe published decisions; they are not legal advice and they do not say whether any activity is permitted. We do not link to operators, publish offers or accept payment for coverage.

Who edits it

Jurisdexa is edited by Vishal Justin. Each case and source is checked against the official page where it can be opened, secondary sources are marked, and each briefing shows when its sources were checked and when they are next due for review. Our process is set out in the methodology, and our rules on independence, AI use and corrections are on the editorial standards page.
