Editorial standards and corrections
Independence
No operator, affiliate, regulator or law firm pays for coverage or reviews our pages before publication. We carry no advertising or sponsored content. If that changes, the affected page will say so at the top.
Fair description of cases
Enforcement entries name businesses because regulators name them in public decisions. We describe each case in the regulator's words, state the type of decision (for example, a settlement rather than a finding), and do not speculate beyond the notice. If a decision is overturned, withdrawn or amended, we update the entry and say so. Businesses named in a case can contact us to point out a factual error, with a link to the relevant official document.
Sourcing
Every case and directory entry links to its source, an official page wherever we could open one. Secondary sources and pages we could not open are marked. We do not publish figures, statuses or rules we cannot trace. Details are in our methodology.
Use of AI tools and images
We use AI tools to help locate decisions, draft summaries and check consistency. Every entry is checked against the official notice where it can be opened; entries relying on copies or trade reports are marked. The illustration of regulatory documents on the homepage is AI-generated and decorative. Region maps are drawn by us from public-domain Natural Earth data.
Gambling and safety
Jurisdexa does not promote gambling or link to operators. Minimum ages differ by jurisdiction: 18 in Great Britain, 18 or 19 in Canadian provinces, and 21 for online casino in US states. If gambling is affecting you, contact a local support service such as the National Gambling Helpline in Great Britain, ConnexOntario or 1-800-GAMBLER in the United States.
